Villanova Football extends three new offers following prospect camp

Villanova is still searching for their first verbal commitment.

The Villanova Wildcats football staff hosted the first of four summer camps yesterday, and extended three new offers afterwards to 2018 prospects.

Owen Thomas is a 6’4” 215 lb. tight end from North Penn (Pa.), and holds offers from UCF, Bowling Green, FIU, James Madison, Youngstown State and Delaware among others.

Mateo Jackson is a 6’2” 215 lb. linebacker from Hermitage High School (Va.) and holds offers from Cincinnati, Kent State, Army, Navy, Liberty, Elon and others.

Reggie Sutton is a 6’4” 260 lb. offensive lineman from Calvert Hall (Md.) and holds offers from Akron, Toledo, Marshall, William & Mary, Towson, New Hampshire and more.

All three players hold FBS offers, but seem to be getting recruited more heavily by some of the best at the FCS level. Expect the coaching staff to continue to cast a wide net as the summer continues.

The next Villanova Football Camp is scheduled for June 20th at Villanova Stadium.
