Josh Hart was selected in the NBA Draft with the final pick of the first round last night, and we quickly saw he was not among the prospects that spent the evening in New York City at the event.

Instead, Hart spent the evening at Villanova with family and friends, and we have video footage of the moment Hart heard his name called thanks to Coach Ashley Howard.

Hart gets big cheers from the Villanova Basketball team, and shares a great moment with his longtime girlfriend and his mother. This is what it’s all about, and it shows the strength of the family culture that Jay Wright has created that Hart opted to spend the biggest night of his life there rather than in New York.
