Former Villanova Wildcats guard Reggie Redding got a nice birthday present from his club today, as Bayern Munich announced they had agreed to a contract extension with the 29-year old guard.
Ois Guade, @RRedding15! Und klasse, dass Du ein weiteres Jahr bei uns bleibst: https://t.co/LfwQsvigIT. pic.twitter.com/R92k47THMq

Here’s the signing article from Bayern, with Redding’s quote roughly translated via the Google machine:
"I am happy that I return to Munich and play for Bayern again in the BBL," said Redding, who is still in the home tournament."Unfortunately, we were not able to finish the last season as we intended, so we have a big goal and want to make it better this year."
Redding averaged 8.8 points per game, 2.6 rebounds per game and 3.7 assists per game in the EuroCup last season on 53.2% shooting from the field and 34.2% from three. He’ll look to help Bayern improve on last season’s 3rd place finish in the Basketball Budesliga.
Redding has carved out an impressive career in Europe with stints in Germany, Turkey and Cyprus. He’s a great example of a well-rounded and skilled player that wasn’t a star in college, but is now at nearly a decade of service in the European leagues.
Viel glück and alles gute zum geburtstag, Reggie!
