Not so fast, my friend! After a year spent with the Austin Spurs, former Villanova Wildcats star Ryan Arcidiacono was set to sign with JuveCaserta in Italy. It looks like Arch will get another NBA shot instead with the Chicago Bulls.

H/T to willylaw for the heads up on the news.
There’s a lot of unpack in that Sportando article, which uses an Italian reporter. Per Daniele Labanti - a reporter in Bologna - the Chicago Bulls are giving Arch a guaranteed contract (!!), but it may be a two-way deal.
Also of note, Arch may have had an out in his JuveCaserta contract for the NBA, but JuveCaserta won’t even be playing in Serie A this year due to financial issues. Arch is making out like a bandit.
Congrats to Arch, and very happy to see him staying stateside for the time being.
UPDATE 5:45pm: The contract will be a two-way contract for one year.
Arcidiacono’s two-way contract will be for one year, I’m told. The two-way they signed Antonio Blakeney to last week is for two years.
