4-star point guard Jalen Carey is down to 6 schools, and your Villanova Wildcats are still in the race for his signature. He released the list via Twitter on Sunday night.

Villanova offered Carey in late July after watching him during the Live Period, and despite the late formal entry into his recruitment the ‘Cats are still in the hunt. Carey is also considering Kansas, Miami (Fla.), Connecticut, Syracuse and Rutgers.
Villanova is in search of a lead guard to finish off their 2018 recruiting class, and Carey looks like a great fit. He has great size at 6’3” - though he does need to add some muscle - and is ultra-athletic. He has a score-first mentality and could play on or off the ball at the next level.
The next logical step for Carey would be to schedule official visits. Hopefully Villanova can lock one of Carey’s five alotted visits down and get their shot at him.
