The Villanova Wildcats staff is heading North today for the second weekend in a row for 4-star guard David Duke. Jay Wright and his staff were at Cushing Academy last weekend to watch Duke work out, and now they’ll conduct an in-home visit with Duke and his family.
Villanova's Jay Wright and his coaching staff will be in Providence, RI tomorrow to visit with Top 50 prospect David Duke and his family.

Duke is officially down to a Top 5, but has said he hasn’t been talking to Indiana Hoosiers much recently. That leaves Villanova, Providence, Florida and Virginia Tech as the main competition, with Providence considered the favorite.
Duke has visits scheduled to Florida and Virginia Tech this week and next.
Assuming they can stay in this recruitment, I imagine the staff will be pushing for an official visit for Hoops Mania. The biggest recruiting event of the year is happening earlier than usual this year on September 30th.
The Top-50 guard is a perfect fit for Villanova - he’s a menace defensively with incredible upside at the guard position. Hopefully Wright and staff can win this one over Ed Cooley and Providence and complete what looks like a Top-10 recruiting class before the season starts.
