The Omari Spellman hype train is at full speed

Huuuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaaaaay! Lost in all of yesterday’s news about the ongoing bribery scandal was a good link drop that I’m re-posting below. Jon Rothstein-bot was at Villanova workout recently and is head-over-heels for Omari Spellman.

Now, Jon Rothstein never saw a player he didn’t think was Final Four MOP caliber, so we’d naturally take his opinion with a grain of salt. But then you remember that Jay Wright is once again seen here raving about O-Boogie, after doing so on Seth Greenberg’s podcast last week.

Think it’s about time to get irrationally excited about the big man.
