In more important news, Villanova owns Xavier in Philly. We can cross out venue as the reason, it’s the city and surrounding areas. Villanova hasn’t lost to Xavier in a home game since 1956. Since X joined the Big East, Nova is 9-1 against them with an average margin of victory over 16 points. That’s the gap between Villanova and the best competition the Big East has to offer right now.
