Huuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaaaaaay! I think while we all assume that Oklahoma’s Trae Young will win National Player of the Year (and if he does, he’ll deserve it), but it’s cool to see Jalen Brunson getting some love from the national media.

Villanova’s reputation as a pick-your-poison opponent is neat and all, but what Brunson is doing this year isn’t being appreciated enough. Maybe he needs to hoist a few more stepback 30-footers.

Women’s track & field stars Siofra Cleirigh Buttner and Angel Piccirillo, along with former men’s basketball standout Kyle Lowry, were among the honored guests and award recipients at the 114th Annual Philadelphia Sports Writers Dinner on Monday night. The event was held at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill and recognized many of the biggest names in the Philadelphia sports scene.
