Villanova Soccer’s Chris Bared selected by Seattle in MLS SuperDraft

The Sounders selected the 4-year starter in the Third Round.

Villanova is sending another Wildcat Soccer player to the Pacific Northwest. Senior fullback Chris Bared was selected by the Seattle Sounders with the 22nd selection in the Third Round (68th overall) of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft.

Bared, a 5’11” swift right back, played for Panama in the 2013 FIFA U17 and 2015 U20 World Cups and started 16 matches for ‘Nova this season.

The Sounders also selected a Villanovan in the 2010 Draft when Michael Seamon headed to the Emerald City.
