Villanova Mug Arizin Links

Good Morning Nova Nation! Chris is trying to save the world one computer battery at a time, so I’m subbing in with today’s news.

It’s been widely discussed already, but the second annual tournament seeding “sneak peek” has now become the unofficial start of March Madness. And by that it’s a time for everyone to say what a terrible job they’re doing and that they got it all wrong.

But one thing everyone agrees with is that the Big East could wind up with two #1 Seeds this year. Villanova has been one of the best teams in the sport for most of the season, and Xavier has found ways to win close games time and time again. The one caveat seems to be that Xavier is going to have to beat Villanova either in the Big East Tournament, or this Saturday at the Cintas Center. While that game could decide who wins the Big East this year, it could also cement a #1 seed for the winner.

In other “news”, Villanova has the best offense, we be creepin’ on Justin Moore, Coaches rank Nova #2, DiVincenzo is projecting as a 2019 first round pick, and Villanova Lacrosse jumps into the national rankings. Enjoy!
