Happy Monday, ‘Nova Nation! Despite their overtime loss at Creighton over the weekend, a quick perusal of the latest Bracketology projections shows that Villanova should be just fine.
They may be toeing the line on what region they end up in. Virginia has the South all but locked up, but with Xavier possessing the inside track to the Big East title, Boston is a bit closer than Omaha for them. I still think Villanova’s 2 head-to-head wins will send them to Beantown, but it is getting tighter. And a suddenly surging Kansas complicates things further.
Antoher loss, and Villanova could find themselves in the West.
