2018 NCAA Women’s Tournament: How to watch Villanova vs. Notre Dame

The 9th Seed ‘Cats take on the top seed Irish... in South Bend.

The Villanova Ladycats (23-8) take on top-seed Notre Dame (30-3) on Sunday in the Second Round of the 2018 Women’s NCAA Tournament.

Harry Paretta’s squad nailed 16 three-pointers in their 81-74 victory over South Dakota State on Friday in the First Round.

Notre Dame defeated Cal State Northridge 99-81 in their opening round game of the Spokane Region.

In terms of what to expect from Villanova, Paretta clearly laid it out to the media, “I mean, it’s just obvious to me we can’t play toe to toe with them. Offensively, they’re just too skilled, so we’re going to try to slow the game down, just try to make it as ugly a game as possible. We’re going to have to try to generate 3-point shots if we can, and we’re going to have to try to make them. That’s the only way we can be in the game. … If we don’t shoot the 3 well, we could get beat by 30.”

The game tips off at 7p ET and will be broadcast on ESPN.
