The awards keeping rolling in for Villanova’s Jalen Brunson.
It was announced on Sunday that the Wildcats’ point guard has won the Naismith Trophy for College Basketball’s Player of the Year.

After claiming the AP’s Player of the Year Award and the Oscar Robertson Player of the Year Award earlier in the week, Brunson completes the College Player of the Year Treble with the the Naismith. The fourth Player of the Year trophy, the Wooden Award, will be announced on Friday, April 6th.
The Lincolshire, IL native has average 19.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists across 39 games for Villanova this season. He beat out Deandre Ayton (Arizona), Devonte Graham (Kansas), and Marvin Bagley III (Duke) for the award.
Brunson also won the BIG EAST Player of the Year, Scholar Athlete of the Year, and was named the East Region’s Most Outstanding Player.
Villanova will play the Michigan Wolverines on Monday evening for the 2018 National Championship.
