Jalen Brunson announced this morning that he will forego his final year of eligibility and enter the upcoming NBA draft. The announcement came via a letter to Nova Nation on ESPN.com entitled “A message to my Villanova family”

Brunson has been a starter at Villanova ever since arriving as a freshman. In his three seasons he won two National Championships, two Big East Championships, two Big East Tournaments, Big East POY, First Team All-American, and numerous National POY trophies.
Brunson was the leader of the record setting 2018 Championship team, and his contributions on and off the court will not soon be forgotten on the Main Line. Congratulations Jalen, once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!
