Villanova sweeps the Big 5... again

News and Notes from Villanova and college basketball

Mug2

Happy Friday Nova Nation! I’m ready to get a start on the weekend, so links are on time this morning. And good thing too, as some of your National Champion Villanova Wildcats will be on hand this morning on Wall Street to ring the NASDAQ bell to open trading.

But more importantly, the Wildcats will again be lavished with awards on Monday night at the Big 5 Award Banquet. Villanova swept the city series for a 5th consecutive season, and this year they’ve done the same with the Big 5 Awards. Not only have they won all of the major awards, they also snagged four of the five First Team All-Big 5 spots.

It’s good to be the king.

In other “news”: Lewis and Antoine are in high demand, the Knicks probably aren’t getting Jay Wright, yet another NBA mock draft, Villanova Football is awesome, Kansas says they didn’t do it, and Nova uses science on a baseball. Enjoy!
