The workouts are done, the holiday is over, it’s time to decide.

Happy Tuesday Nova Nation! I hope everyone had a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend, and thanks again to all of those who serve our country. ‘Merica!

But now that the weekend has come to an end, it’s finally decision time for Donte DiVincenzo and Omari Spellman. The NCAA deadline for elligible players to remove themselves from the NBA draft is tomorrow, so we’d expect an announcement within the next 24 hours.

Whether or not these two stars would return next season or ride their National Championship into the NBA Draft has been the biggest question around the Villanova program for the past two months. If one or both of them return, Villanova will be one of the front runners for another title. If they both leave, the team will need some of the younger Wildcats to step up in order for the team to defend their title.

Honestly, I’ve written the same story over and over for the past month. If they go, it’s great for them and a good sign for the program’s ability to get players to the NBA. If they stay, it’s great for them and a good sign of how great the culture is at Villanova. Bottom line, it’s a win-win.

In other “news”, I <3 Jay Wright’s dog, ‘Crootin, more ‘Cruitin, the Big East faces off at TBT, and a look at the transfers ‘free agents’. Enjoy!
