Is Isaiah Stewart the next recruit to join Villanova’s Class of 2019?

Fingers, toes, and eyes are all crossed.

Happy Friday Nova Nation! While the last two weeks have brought two prized 2019 players into the Villanova family, there’s still more recruiting to be done. The Wildcats can still bring in one or two more players, so expect the staff to stay on their toes for the rest of this recruiting window.

One player Jay Wright and company will surely be keeping an extra close eye on is center Isaiah Stewart. The 5 Star Rochester, NY native is one of the best big men in the 2019 class, and bringing him to the Main Line is a top priority. Wright may have a leg up on the competition, having started his coaching career in Rochester. He’s also shown that he knows how to win a National Championship with an elite big man.

However, Villanova is a little late to the game in Stewart’s recruitment. Duke seems to be the front-runner for now, but with larger programs like Villanova, Louisville, and Michigan State getting more involved, nothing’s set in stone.

In other “news”, NBA Draft talk, Villanova West (aka Penn State) is doing well, High School kids chasin’ that paper, and I guess Georgetown had to win at something for it to be a “rivalry”. Enjoy!
