As we outlined before Cremo visited, he 6’4” guard averaged 17.8 ppg, 4.1 rgp and 3.8 apg on 45.8% 3P shooting last season. His 120 ORtg on high-usage (via KenPom) is pretty impressive too. On the surface, he’s a piece that could plug in and help right away on the offensive end.
The commitment brings some insurance for the potential early departure of Donte DiVincenzo. Even if The Big Ragu stays for another season, Cremo is a valuable offensive weapon who is a self-reported gym rat. He should fit right into the culture that Jay Wright has instilled.
