Villanova is set to host 4-star wing Saddiq Bey for a visit, per Evan Daniels. This comes on the back of Bey’s visit to Vanderbilt.

That tweet links to a premium article on 247 so those of you with subscriptions over there should be able to get the details, which include his decision timeline. It sure does look like this thing might be down to Vanderbilt and Villanova though with Summer sessions ramping up.
Bey was originally a target for Villanova - but never received an offer - before committing to North Carolina State. He was granted his release earlier this Spring and should be eligible to play next season.
The ‘Cats have a very large (by Jay Wright standards) roster next season, so adding Bey would almost guarantee that somebody is going to take a redshirt.
For you Crystal Ball watchers, 247’s Brian Snow just put in a pick for Villanova this morning so this thing certainly looks to be trending in the Wildcats’ direction.
