Breaking: Omari Spellman Drafted by the Hawks

Omari Spellman is heading to Atlanta having been drafted by the Hawks with the final pick of the first round.

While Spellman clearly projects to be an NBA player, many questioned his decision to leave school as the general feedback did not point to him being drafted in the first round. However, Spellman made clear that a first round guarantee was not a deal breaker for him as he plainly expressed his openness to developing in the NBA as opposed to college.

Spellman will join a team led by the young Dennis Schroeder.
