It’s time for the next great Villanova nickname

Happy Wednesday Nova Nation! After taking a step back and evaluating the team now that the NBA players have moved on, there’s a glaring hole in the Wildcats organization. There aren’t any great “official” nicknames. Sure, there are a few that get thrown around from time to time, but nothing that matches Gus Johnson’s “The Big Ragu”.

The good news is, this is an easy problem to fix. Making up nicknames is simple, just see Steve Lavin’s never ending attempts to get “The Lawnmower” to stick for Jalen Brunson. Hey, I said they were easy to make-up, not that they’d be good.

However, I figure that there are enough of us on here that we can probably find at least one great nickname for a player on this team. Something about the law of large numbers or something, I’m sure Will Schreefer can explain it to us.
