The consensus top 25-ranked recruit has Villanova, Arizona, USC, Marquette, Vanderbilt, Oregon, Kansas, Utah, UCLA, and Duke making the cut.
The 6-3 point guard was offered by Jay Wright and his staff back in late April. However, the Wildcats have had him on their radar since last summer, following him on the Under Armour circuit, where he plays for West Coast Elite.
This past season at Pinnacle High School, Mannion averaged 23.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 2.0 steals as a sophomore.
He is a crafty guard, one that can create for himself and others. He has a fantastic shot, with a quick release to top it off. He is shifty, agile, and explosive, capable of throwing down strong dunks to contrast his three-point shooting.
