Happy Thursday Nova Nation! I’m still soaking in the sun down at the shore, but I was able to stick my head out of the sand long enough to see that Nova will take on La Salle at the Palestra this season. The Wildcats will still be heavy favorites in this one, but this change isn’t in Villanova’s favor.
The last time these two faced off at the Palestra, the crowd was wild and the game was close until the last five minutes. Ashley Howard knows this, and is clearly trying to capitalize on the atmosphere and his knowledge of the team. Jay will have his work cut out, but should continue his unbeaten streak in the Big 5.
In other “news”, Vegas odds for Nova in 2019, Josh Hart wins Summer League, and Villanova got shut out at the ESPYs. Enjoy!
