Roughly 6 weeks after first landing an offer, defensive back Elijah Solomon has verbally committed to the Villanova Wildcats. He announced the decision on Twitter.

The Baltimore, Maryland native committed to the Wildcats over offers from New Hampshire, Elon and Rhode Island. After playing both running back and linebacker for Franklin High School, Solomon projects on the defensive side of the ball for the ‘Cats.
At 6’0 and 220 lbs. he’d have great size at one of the safety positions in Villanova’s 3-3-5 scheme. Depending on how he fills out he could play as a linebacker too as his reported 4.6 40-yard time would bring speed to the position.
Welcome to ‘Nova Nation, Elijah!
