Villanova Basketball 3 on 3 Summer Tournament: Final Four

All month we’re squaring off the best user-submitted teams in a giant 128 team 3 on 3 tournament. Voting closes every night at midnight, so be sure to check back every day to vote for your favorite teams and see who comes away as the 2018 Summer Tournament Champion!

We’re down the Final Four, the creme de la creme. Only eight Villanova greats remain in contention to be on the team that cuts down the nets, but one of them has garunteed his spot on the Championship podium. Howard Porter is the only player on all four remaining teams, so congrats to Geezer for claiming one of the top spots. Who will be joining him? Let’s find out!

Game 1: MVPs (9) vs Rockets (2)

Villanova’s Final Four MOPs take on some of the most explosive players in program history. Arcidiacono vs Brunson, DiVincenzo vs Lowry, and Pinckney vs Kittles. You can’t ask for more intense matchups!

Game 2: Porter 7-8-9 (1) vs Best of the Best (2)

With Kittles and Porter on both teams, we’re left with two great matchups. A pair of Wright Era guards in Brunson vs Lowry, and a pair of old school bigs in Arizin vs Pinckney. Brunson and Arizin are craftier with better shots, but Lowry and Pinckney are more athletic with bigger builds. Who wins? You decide!
