Villanova Basketball 3 on 3 Summer Tournament: Round 1, Day 1

And away we go!

Texas Tech v Villanova Photo by Elsa/Getty Images

All month we’re squaring off the best user-submitted teams in a giant 128 team 3 on 3 tournament. Voting closes every night at midnight, so be sure to check back every day to vote for your favorite teams and see who comes away as the 2018 Summer Tournament Champion!

It’s day one of our enormous 128 team competition, and that means kicking things off with 13 matchups from across all four Regions. As has been tradition, the Regions are all named after the greatest coaches in Villanova history: Wright, Massimino, Kraft, and Severance. As the rounds progress we’ll provide more background and info on all the teams, but for now you’re getting the bare bones. There’s a lot to get to so let’s not waste any time and dive right in.
