Villanova Basketball is Somehow Still Loaded

Happy Wednesday Nova Nation! Or to put it another way, Hump Daaaayyyyy!!!! Still gets me every time.

The other thing that gets me every time is just how good at scoring the ball Villanova is going to be... again. Seriously, Villanova has had at least one player leave to play in the NBA in each of the last four seasons (including four last year) and they still come back with what should be another offensive powerhouse of a team.

This is the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament that a defending champion has lost 4 or more of their top scorers and still returned two players who averaged double digit points in their Championship season. Add to that a 5-star point guard, a transfer that scored over 17 points per game last season, and a slew of other returning and new players that are ready to step up to continue the golden age of Villanova basketball. Yeah, I’d say Villanova is going to be pretty good again.
