Jonathan Mulatu commits to Villanova Football

The speedster is a Villanova Wildcat.

NCAA Football: Villanova at Temple Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Just over a month after receiving a Villanova offer, running back Jonathan Mulatu has verbally committed to head coach Mark Ferrante and the Villanova Wildcats. He announced his decision on Twitter.

The Springfield, Virginia native committed to Villanova over offers from fellow CAA members Towson, Delaware, and James Madison, Elon, and New Hampshire, as well as offers from Lehigh and Lafayette, just to name a few.

Standing 5’11” and weighing in at 206 lbs, Mulatu uses his speed and shiftiness to avoid tacklers as a running back, but also has the strength to gain significant yards after contact. He has the perfect size to be used as a pass catcher out of the backfield as well. Mulatu is also used in all three phases of the kicking game at Lee High School, showing his versatility which can never be a bad thing in emergency situations.

Welcome to Nova ‘Nation, Jonathan!
