Happy Tuesday Nova Nation! I’m feeling especially proud to be a Wildcat this morning as Villanova is excelling in and out of the classroom. Not only has the football team been ranked in the Top 10 for FCS schools, but the Princeton Review has Villanova ranked in the Top 50 Nationally.
First off, great accomplishment for the football team that’s now the 2nd team from the CAA to join the Top 10. This team was elite last season before being hit hard by injuries, and now we’re seeing what could have been. I’d expect to see another win for the Wildcats in their home opener this weekend.
But possibly the more impressive ranking is Villanova again being ranked in the Top 50 Nationally in the Princeton Review. This year the school was tied with Wisconsin and Texas, which simply blows my mind. Considering the vast differences in resources and size, it says a lot that Villanova is considered on par with those institutions. Damn it feels good to be a Wildcat!
In other “news”, Nova’s on the recruiting board, Mikal Bridges is set for a great first season, and there’s a new team in D1 basketball. Enjoy!
