5-star guard Bryan Antoine commits to Villanova

The 5-star guard has joined an already impressive 2019 class for the Wildcats.

The Villanova Wildcats added a major piece to an already impressive recruiting class when 5-star guard Bryan Antoine announced his commitment to Jay Wright and the Wildcats program on Tuesday morning in a total shocker.

Antoine is a 6’4.5” combo guard that attends Ranney School (N.J.) and plays for Team Rio (Under Armour) on the AAU circuit. He’s also a member of the USA Basketball program.

Antoine was long seen as a Duke lean, but an impromptu unofficial visit to the Main Line last week appears to have sealed the deal before Antoine took any of his scheduled official visits.

Ranked #11 in the 247 Composite rankings, Antoine will come to Villanova with expectations that he contributes immediately after years of being considered a potential one-and-done prospect. He’s a plus-athlete with a good offensive package. Though he didn’t face the stifest of competition in high school he performed well on the UAA circuit. He has the tools to be an immediate star at the college level, and has put his trust in Jay Wright to make good on his potential.

Antoine joins Justin Moore and Eric Dixon in Villanova’s 2019 recruiting class.

Welcome to ‘Nova Nation, Bryan!
