NBA Wildcat Watch (January 25)

From Tuesday through Friday, each time a former Wildcat hits the court, we will recap how they did and include a few highlights (if available). On Tuesdays, we’ll also recap what happened over the weekend, so you don’t miss the action. This will also serve as a discussion board. We will try to keep it updated as soon as the games are over, so check back often!

There were four Wildcats in action to close out the work week—Ryan Arcidiacono (Chicago Bulls), Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors), Jalen Brunson (Dallas Mavericks), and Mikal Bridges (Phoenix Suns).

Ryan Arcidiacono

It was a quiet game for Arcidiacono, who logged just three points off the bench—off 1-of-5 shooting—and a steal through 12 minutes of action. The Bulls lost a close 106-101 game to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kyle Lowry

It was a low-scoring night for Lowry, but he stayed busy by facilitating and distributing the ball. The Raptors lost their primetime game against the Houston Rockets, 121-119.

Lowry finished with nine points (2-of-9 shooting), four rebounds, 11 assists, and a steal.

Jalen Brunson

Brunson did not play in the Mavericks’ 106-101 win over the Detroit Pistons.

Mikal Bridges

Phoenix was on the wrong end of a strong fourth quarter performance by the Denver Nuggets, who downed the Suns 132-95.

Bridges was in the starting five, scoring four points (2-of-6 shooting), grabbing six rebounds, dishing out an assist, getting one steal, and a pair of blocks.
