From Tuesday through Friday, each time a former Wildcat hits the court, we will recap how they did and include a few highlights (if available). On Tuesdays, we’ll also recap what happened over the weekend, so you don’t miss the action. This will also serve as a discussion board. We will try to keep it updated as soon as the games are over, so check back often!
Just one NBA game features a couple of Villanova Wildcats. Two former teammates, Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors) and Dante Cunningham (San Antonio Spurs), will meet down in Alamo Town to tip-off a three-game NBA slate on Thursday.
NBA Wildcat Watches from earlier this Week: Tuesday (Jan. 1) | Wednesday (Jan. 2)
Kyle Lowry
Lowry, who was listed as questionable entering Thursday night, ended up not playing in the Raptors' 125-107 loss to the Spurs. The all-star point guard is expected to be back in action as early as the next few days, as he nurses a sore back.
