Happy Wednesday Nova Nation! For three seasons Villanova fans got to marvel at the force and athleticism that Eric Paschall showed at the college level. Well now the NBA is getting to see exactly what he’s capable of, and for Nova fans it all looks awfully familiar.

The NBA season starts next week, which means every team will soon be cutting down their rosters. Paschall appears to be a good bet to make the Golden State’s roster, and should have the opportunity to make an impact on the court right away.
But Paschall isn’t just a great player, he’s a great person. One of the reasons the Warriors valued him so highly was the fit with their culture and his team first mentality. It’s a quality that helped him thrive at Villanova, and it’s also quickly endeared him with his teammates and fans. And that doesn’t just come up in games, Paschal’s been buying into EVERYTHING the Warriors throw at him.

It’s going to be another great NBA season for Villanova fans looking to see their favorite players succeed at the next level. There will be as many as eight former Wildcats in action this season across seven teams. Kyle Lowry is coming off a championship in Toronto, Josh Hart is paired with Zion Williamson in New Orleans, and Ryan Arcidiacono continues to prove his value with Chicago. Phoenix picked up their option with Mikal Bridges, Dallas is raving about Jalen Brunson as the player looking the best in the preseason, Donte DiVincenzo is finally healthy for Milwaukee, and Omari Spellman is joining Eric Paschall on Golden State. And don’t forget Phil Booth, who’s still fighting for one of the final roster spots with Washington.
In other “news”, Villanova Football is still in a great spot for a playoff run, Women’s Basketball tickets are on sale now, and Megan Vermeil’s grandfather is in fact THAT Vermeil. Enjoy!
