Have your Villanova voice heard weekly in a brand new fan poll!

Get excited, Wildcats! We are considered the voice of the Villanova community here at VU Hoops, and we talk every day about how ‘Nova is doing — whether that’s debating Howard Porter vs. Paul Arizin or debating who would win in a game between the 2016 or 2018 squad.

Now, we are starting a new polling project — including a brand new SB Nation NCAA Basketball FanPulse — that will pull together the insights of the most plugged-in ‘Nova fans. It’s pretty simple. You sign up, then each week we email you a ballot to fill out.

If you sign up, you will be among a vetted group from VU Hoops who answer a weekly survey of Wildcat fans developed by SB Nation. It should be a quick survey of two questions:

  1. A National Question (think: “who is your preseason pick to win the national championship” or “who is your player of the year to this point of the season”)
  2. Your confidence in your Villanova Wildcats

The survey will start going out this weekend and will continue on a weekly basis. It is something that should take at most a few minutes a week to participate in.

We want to build the definitive poll of informed college basketball fans, and that includes you. Your votes will be anonymous — though if you join, you are welcome (and encouraged!) to tell anyone you like. You’ll get to have your voice heard about whether Kansas is overrated or Villanova shouldn’t be in the Top 10 of the AP Poll... yet.

The results of each poll will be published by us weekly and may end up on SBNation.com also, along with the results from other team sites. This is a fun way to see how each community — and even conference — views the pressing issues of College Basketball.
