Villanova Basketball’s week on Twitter

A pair of Final Four MOPs, Jay Wright vs George Clooney, and remembering one of the greats. There was a lot to love on Villanova Twitter this week.

Happy Friday Nova Nation! The Wildcats will be back in action tomorrow as they take on another team from Ohio at the Wells Fargo Center. So to clear the air between Wednesday’s loss and Saturday’s game, I figured we’d do a quick whip around Villanova Twitter and some of the really cool things that got glazed over this week. Jay Wright or George Clooney?

Not all of us would have been so generous if given the chance, but he was.

Ryan Arcidiacono is the greatest teammate of all time

That’s right, before the ball is anywhere close to the basket, Arch shows his faith in his rookie teammate and just turns his back and raises his arms. WOW!

In other “news”, The Big East loses the Gavitt Tip-Off Games 3-5, Villanova Football plays in a rare Friday night game tonight, and it’s a big weekend all around for Villanova Athletics. Enjoy!
