Villanova to wear light blue alternate jerseys against Penn

‘Nova is set to wear alternates for the first time in 5 years.

Villanova will be unveiling a new alternate jersey on Wednesday Night when they host Penn in a Big 5 game.

The official team account noted that the first home Big 5 game would be “Light Blue Night” at Finneran Pavilion.

This prompted some hopeful thinking from one of your favorite VU Hoops personalities...

Well Mr. Lane, you’re in luck, the team shortly announced that the Light Blue alternates would be worn against the Quakers.

In 2013, ‘Nova sported an alternate navy blue jersey that featured the Block V. A year later, the squad wore gray alternate jerseys.
