Wildcats fall out of Top 25 AP Poll rankings

Amid a three-game losing streak, the ‘Cats plummet out of the polls.

The Villanova Wildcats’ have now lost three-straight games, and the two losses this past week to the Georgetown Hoyas and Xavier Musketeers will be more than enough to knock them out of the AP Top 25.

The ‘Cats are dwelling in the receiving votes section and are “unofficially No. 27.”

The Marquette Golden Eagles are currently the only ranked Big East team, sitting in at No. 10.

There’s also a new No. 1, as the Gonzaga Bulldogs take the top spot.

Here is a look at the AP Poll. Numbers in parentheses indicate amount of first-place votes received:
