From Tuesday through Friday, each time a former Wildcat hits the court, we will recap how they did and include a few highlights (if available). On Tuesdays, we’ll also recap what happened over the weekend, so you don’t miss the action. This will also serve as a discussion board. We will try to keep it updated as soon as the games are over, so check back often!
Four different Wildcats were in action on Thursday night. Kyle Lowry and Omari Spellman faced off, as the Atlanta Hawks hosted the Toronto Raptors to help tip-off the NBA slate. We also got some rivalry hoops, as Josh Hart and the Los Angeles Lakers played the Boston Celtics. Dante Cunningham and the San Antonio Spurs are on the west coast playing in the nightcap.
Kyle Lowry
It wasn’t a great scoring night for Lowry, but he was on point in the way he was able to facilitate the offense and set up his teammates. In Toronto’s 119-101 win over Atlanta, he finished with 13 points (3-of-13 overall), eight boards, and 13 assists. He had just two turnovers, and he also had a block.

Josh Hart
It was a thrilling win for the Lakers, who were saved by the buzzer-beating heroics of Rajon Rondo. The Lakers downed the Boston Celtics, 129-128 for the win.
Hart only played seven minutes and had a scoreless outing after missing his only shot attempt of the game. He did one rebound and an assist off the bench.
