Newest AP Poll: ‘Cats up to No. 23

After a solid week of Villanova Basketball, the ‘Cats have re-entered the Top 25.

The newest polls are out! After getting knocked out of it, the Villanova Wildcats have re-entered the picture, rising up to No. 23 on the latest AP Poll.

They are back in the Top 25, after wins over the ranked Marquette Golden Eagles and a 21-point beatdown over the Butler Bulldogs.

As for Marquette, the Golden Eagles have dropped from No. 10 to No. 16, after taking losses to the Wildcats and the Creighton Bluejays.

Outside of the Big East, the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Virginia Cavaliers are still No. 1 and 2, respectively. The North Carolina Tar Heels have moved up to No. 3, while the Duke Blue Devils drop to No. 4. The Tennessee Volunteers move back up to No. 5.
