Kyle Lowry’s Championship Run Begins Tonight

Will he become the latest Wildcat to win an NBA Title?

Villanova Mug Arizin Links

Happy Thursday Nova Nation! Villanova Basketball’s own Kyle Lowry becomes the latest Wildcat to have a shot at winning the NBA Championship tonight. The last Wildcat to win the title was John Celestand in his lone NBA season with the LA Lakers in 2000. Lowry’s Raptors have overcome a lot this post season, for example he’s been playing basically with one thumb for the last several games. Now he’s up against probably the best franchise of the past decade, so the title is by no means a sure thing.

So with that in mind I have an intriguing question for you Nova Nation. Who will be the next Wildcat to win an NBA title? Sure Lowry has the best shot as he’s already in the finals, but if Toronto doesn’t win there are a number of young players who are on up and coming teams that could have a shot.
