Happy Friday Nova Nation! Last night Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors won Game One of the NBA Championship on their home court. The series is still a long way from over, but this was certainly a great start for the Raptors.
As for the former Villanova Wildcat, Lowry let his teammates do most of the scoring while he dished out a team high nine assists. He added seven points, six rebounds, and a steal in 36 minutes. He also tied with Kawhi Leonard and Fred VanVleet for a game high +11 in the +/- stat.
We’ll all be pulling for Kyle, unless you’re a Warriors’ fan, and even then you’ll probably want to see Lowry do well. Game 2 will be on Sunday in Toronto, and I don’t think the kid from Philly is going to be held to single digits for a second straight game.
In other “news”, updated Way-To-Early Top 25’s, Eric Paschall is working out for Atlanta today, and Jay Wright may be Kyle Lowry’s biggest fan. Enjoy!
