Happy Tuesday Nova Nation! It’s going to be short and sweet today, but first some news from the football side of Villanova Athletics. Yesterday was a big win for the Gridiron Wildcats, as Villanova pulled in not one, not two, but three commitments. And not just any commitments, these were guys in “battleground” states, one of which had an offer to “Dela-where?” as well:
Villanova football has been destroying Delaware for a while now, on and off the field. The Wildcats have won 12 of the last 13 meetings, including their current six game winning streak that’s tied for the longest stretch of domination in the rivalry on either side. Not only that, Villanova will get a chance to get the multi-sport sweep this year as the basketball teams will also face off in December.
It’s a great day to be a Wildcat! Not so great to be a Blue Hen.
In other “news”, Eric Paschall had a solid start for the Warriors, updates from the recruiting trail, and a tattoo of Kyle Lowry you simply must see. Enjoy!
