Villanova’s 1842 Day Campaign

Going all day today, Tuesday September 17th, Villanova University will be supporting its third ever day of giving; 1842 Day. This is every Villanovan’s opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world. All Villanovans can make a gift of any size to the designation of their choice.

1842 Day is all about bringing the entire Villanova Community together whether on campus or virtual.

Whether you are an alumnus/a, student, parent, member of the faculty and staff, or a friend, you are part of this special community—and TOGETHER, WE ARE GREATER!

The 2019 goal is to reach 6,000 donors in 24 hours, starting at midnight on September 18 and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET. If this goal is attained, an anonymous member of the Villanova University family will make a $1.5m donation to LEVEL and the Office of Disability Services.

1842 Day celebrates the University’s founding by Augustinian priests in 1842. Donors can choose from 40 campaigns and 80-plus designations. Every gift counts. Any amount.

This year a number of additional “1842 Day Challenges” have been created to invigorate groups to donate.
