Happy Tuesday Nova Nation! It’s a big day for Villanova as the university is now several hours into 1842 Day, Villanova’s annual day of giving. If you’d like to give back to Villanova, you can click here to see how.

As a reward, I figured I’d round up the crazy amount of news that came out yesterday all across Villanova Twitter. Buckle in, there’s a bunch!

Villanova visiting Devin Askew today!

Askew is the top point guard on Villanova’s wish list for 2020 or 2021, and it’ll be a big two weeks of recruiting as he’ll be following today’s meeting with a visit to Nova’s campus on October 4th. More on this in our 2021 Big Board article.

Villanova Football Ranked #18

The Wildcats are 3-0 to start the season for the first time in 10 years! But that streak will be put to the test this Saturday in their first CAA game of the season when they travel to #5 Towson. Go Cats GO!

New and Improved Tailgaiting

No longer will Wildcat fans be kept off in a side parking lot! I mean, that’s still an option, but now there are other ways to kick off your day at the game as well!

Happy Belated Birthday Brandon Slater

The rising Sophomore celebrated his birthday over the weekend! Word on the street is that he’s going to play a much bigger role this year as he’s looked impressive all summer. College Basketball practices officially start one week from today!
