Pittsburgh - AC Tim OToole
Marquette - AC Dwayne Killings are all expected @step_basketball open gym today. UK & ‘Nova are in for ‘21 A.J. Griffin. Pittsburgh & Marquette are in for ‘20 R.J. Davis.
Griffin is one of the most sought after prospects in his class, and Jay Wright will be up against the best recruiters in college basketball in trying to bring the New York native to the Main Line. Kentucky’s John Calipari is also in town today, and Duke’s Coach K has already made visits to see Griffin this recruiting cycle.
There’s no timetable for the high school junior’s commitment, and the number of high level suitors he has will only continue to grow. Villanova has been in there from the beginning though, and it’s clear Griffin considers Villanova a team he’s interested in hearing more about.
