The conference is highlighted by 22 network games between FOX and CBS, highlighted by a Super Bowl warmup between Georgetown and St. John’s. Villanova will take part in at least 7 of those games, and possibly an 8th if they make the Big East Tournament Final.

For Villanova, they’ll be tested all season long, but will really be tested at the end of the season. The Wildcats will play 4 of their final 6 games on the road, and that includes their final two games at Seton Hall and at Georgetown.

Unlike last year, it’s going to be a great season for tailgating in South Philly. Not only is Villanova already playing three non-conference games on Saturdays at Wells Fargo Center (Ohio, Kansas, and UConn), but they now add four more Saturdays in Philly for Big East matchups. And these aren’t weak opponents either as Villanova will play Georgetown (Jan. 11), Creighton (Feb. 1), Seton Hall (Feb. 8), and Providence (Feb. 29).
