AP College Basketball rankings: Villanova up to No. 8

The Wildcats move up one spot to No. 8.

NCAA Basketball: Villanova at Providence Brian Fluharty-USA TODAY Sports

With wins over the top-25 ranked Butler Bulldogs and Providence Friars, the Villanova Wildcats are moving up the AP Top 25.

They were No. 9 last week, and now they’re up to No. 8.

As for the rest of the Big East, the Seton Hall Pirates are still at No. 10. Butler dropped three spots to No. 16.
