As we draw closer to the halfway point through conference play, I’m curious to know what your impressions are of this year’s Big East? Who are real contenders? Pretenders? Surprises?
Overall, it was a fairly good non-conference showing across the Big East, but now as teams beat up each other, some teams that were surprises and looked like they’d make some noise...ended up not doing much.
However, there is a lot of basketball left, and we’ve seen teams just completely turn it on in the second half of Big East play and enter the Big East Tournament hot (most recent example, last year’s Xavier team). Which team do you think has a chance of doing that? Let’s hear your thoughts and impressions.
