Villanova Basketball drops to #16 in the newest AP Poll

‘Cats drop 6 spots following road loss in Wisconsin.

The Villanova Wildcats (10-3, 1-1) have slipped six spots in the newest AP Poll released on Monday to #16. ‘Nova tallied one win and one loss since the last poll with a conference victory over Xavier and a road loss at Marquette.

Gonzaga, Duke, and Kansas remain unchanged at the top with Baylor and undefeated Auburn round out the Top 5. The BIG EAST is also represented with Butler at #6 while Seton Hall, Marquette, Xavier, and Creighton are receiving votes.

Villanova next takes the court on Tuesday in Omaha when the ‘Cats face Creighton.
